The Strozier Community & Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) mission-driven nonprofit organization, established in August 2023, committed to strengthening individuals, families, and communities through intentional support, workforce readiness, and meaningful resource connection.

Founded in honor of James E. Strozier, our work is rooted in legacy, resilience, and service. We believe that access to opportunity, guidance, and community-centered support can change life trajectories and build generational impact.

To empower individuals and families by providing essential resources, workforce readiness support, and community-based programs that promote stability, self-sufficiency, and long-term success.

OUR IMPACT & CREDENTIALS

As of January 2026, The Strozier Community & Family Foundation has served over 815 families, providing support through:

• Food, clothing, shoes and personal hygiene items

• Monthly community essential giveaways

• Community programming and outreach initiatives

• Strategic partnerships with local organizations

• Fatherhood engagement banquets and initiatives

• Middle school youth development programs

• Emotional CPR (eCPR) programs focused on emotional wellness and resilience

• Referrals for housing support and financial assistance

In addition, we are a North Carolina State Provider of the “More Than A Job” workforce readiness program, supporting individuals as they prepare for sustainable employment and long-term economic stability.

COMMUNITIES WE SERVE

Our primary service area is Rowan County, North Carolina.
We also extend support to surrounding counties, including Cabarrus and Mecklenburg County, through partnerships, referrals, and regional programming.
